Hard to do....

Sometimes it can be hard to address something that has always been around. When you have normalized pain and neglect, it can be difficult to confront them. I think sometimes what shocks me the most is the unnerving reality that I was groomed to receive abuse due to always experiencing abuse throughout my life. It is similar to being programmed. If a child has been in continued environments in which they are abused in various ways, then abuse will become familiar. Abuse becomes a part of their program. We all desire love, safety, community, connection, stability, and identity. All of these things are attacked profusely! We are stripped and denied the very things that we desire. Instead of the love we desire, we are met with fear, pain, turmoil, and despair. This causes the journey or quest for love, but unfortunately, we begin in the opposite direction. Which leads to bondage and a life filled with living in willful sin and curses.

Love is God and God is Love. He is precisely what we are all in need of. We have been separated from Love and on the search for Him. He is not in relationships, familial allegiances, careers, money, fame, or substances. The pain and voids that we suffer from will never be healed by anything other than Jesus Christ. We were not created by our Heavenly Father to be abused. He didn't create us to suffer in unhealthy toxic relationships. I am speaking of all types of relationships. People are the conduits of either good or evil. It is a person that did these terrible things to us. They were under the influence of the Enemy. Satan is on a never-ending journey to kill, steal, and destroy. What you “feel” is supernatural. Your “emotions/feelings” are supernatural. What you “believe” or “think” is supernatural. These things all shape and mold your worldview and how you see yourself. It plays a role in what and who you invite in your life.

Healing from these inner spiritual wounds can only be done in a relationship with your Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit. We need the true unconditional love of the Father to heal everything that was spoken or done to us. The life of perpetual abuse is a lie that we must begin to disagree with and dismantle in our minds. For every single person who has cried silent tears and harbored the pain that rattles your core…I am inviting you to choose the Love that your soul so desperately desires. Cry out to God and confess that you want this Love. The Love that will never fail or mistreat you The Love that is unconditional and pure. It is the Love that will heal the broken places and restore you to health in your mind, body, and soul. All you need to do is simply receive the gift of Jesus Christ. You receive this gift by believing that Jesus is the Son of God and that he died for your sins and arose again defeating the very evil Enemy that has been tormenting you all of your life in your mind, altering your will, and attacking you in your emotions. This is your very SOUL! The soul that Jesus died to save!
